DESCRIPTION :
The Marine Engineer will BE responsible for the design, modeling, and optimization of processes related to the energy sector, with a particular focus on FPSO marine systems life extension. This key role requires deep technical expertise, knowledge of process simulation software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and domain experts., Process Design and Modeling : Design, model, and optimize industrial processes related to the energy sector using software such as Aspen HYSYS and Pro II.
- Lead Refurbishment Activities : Lead the FPSO tandem refurbishment activities, including organization, preparation, procedures, planning, and coordination between departments, OEMs, and contractors.
- Engineering Dossier Development : Ensure the engineering dossier developed for hull appurtenance and systems, offloading buoy & tandem equipment refurbishment is optimized for urgent implementation.
- Collaboration : Liaise with the Floating Unit Lead Engineer for certification/classification society in view of class renewal and ensure conditions of class and integrity issues of hull and offloading systems are addressed.
- Inspection and Maintenance Plans : Define further inspection, operation, and maintenance manuals & plans for hull and offloading systems with modifications, aging, and system history.
- Coordination and Liaison : Coordinate and liaise with various technical departments (OT/TL/TEC/SMA) and ensure clear and formalized roles and responsibilities between HBM FEED Team and TEEPA entities (PBF, EPT, FO).
- Technical Reviews and Risk Assessments : Participate in technical reviews (Hazids, Hazops, Project Technical Reviews, Risk Assessments) and ensure the implementation of recommendations.
- FEED Documentation and Contractor Queries : Assist in the follow-up, coordination, and preparation of FEED mooring related documentation and respond to technical queries from FEED and services contractors.
- Reporting and Communication : Provide timely reporting to the HBM Manager, assist in communication with Project Management, and highlight progress and areas of concern.
- Contract Management : Perform the close-out of contracts in accordance with TEP Angola and Project procedures and participate in reducing contractual risks associated with interfaces with other packages.
