DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking an ambitious and technically proficient Sales Engineer to drive significant growth within the renewable energy sector across Europe. This role requires a consultative sales approach, deep technical understanding of renewable energy systems, and a proven track record of securing high-value, long-cycle engineering service contracts with key European stakeholders., * Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new, high-value engineering service contracts with developers, IPPs, utilities, and EPC firms across core European markets.
* Consultative Sales: Act as a technical sales expert, engaging clients at a deep engineering level to understand complex project requirements (e.g., solar power station, grid compliance, energy storage integration, feasibility studies, detailed design) and propose tailored, high-value solutions.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain influential relationships with C-suite executives, Chief Engineers, and Project Directors within client organizations throughout the entire project lifecycle, often spanning long sales cycles.
* Proposal & Bid Management: Lead the preparation of comprehensive Requests for Proposal (RFP) and tender submissions, collaborating with internal engineering leads to ensure winning strategies and technical accuracy.
* Market & Regulatory Insight: Maintain expert knowledge of European energy policies, specific country grid codes (e.g., ENTSO-E standards), market trends, and competitor activities to shape our service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, project management, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project transition and exceptional client satisfaction for complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
* Forecasting & Reporting: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM software, providing accurate forecasts and market intelligence to senior management.
